Coins can be found by going on a run, from loot boxes, from patrolling, from the growth fund, from missions and the list goes on and on! So as you play the game, you're bound to come across some coins. 

Coins can also be bought with gems from the shop, so if you're ever short of coins, you might consider buying some with the gems you've acquired.
